Some cracks can’t be seen with the naked eye, but they can lead to a major failure under load. We use Magnaflux (magnetic particle) inspection to find surface and near-surface cracks in iron and steel parts, including engine blocks, cylinder heads, crankshafts, connecting rods, and other critical components. Testing confirms whether a part is safe to reuse before it goes back into an engine or drivetrain, so you’re not rebuilding around a hidden flaw. Testing is done in our shop.
